"Brothers" contained the song "Tighten Up," one of The Black Keys' most famous single which won three Grammy Awards. The album also has the songs "Howling For You," and "She's Long Gone" which became mildly popular. This has to be my favorite album because it contains some of my favorite songs like "Next Girl," and "Tighten Up," which is my all time favorite song of their's.
The Black Keys' album, "El Camino," was their eighth album and was their second breakthrough. This album contained their song "Lonely Boy," which became madly popular one the radio and on TV. This album also was number two on the Billboard 200 chart and was the cause for the band's first tour, "El Camino Tour." I really like the song "Dead and Gone," on this album because, as usual, it has great guitar and drums and it has that sound of American rock mixed with a little bit of blues. I feel this whole album portrays this in some way and it sounds like something you could listen to no matter how you feel.
The Black Keys' latest album "Turn Blue," which was just released, was their first number one record in the US and Australia as well. This album has more of a "psychedelic rock" sound to it. It is a little different then the band's usually sound but the change is not necessarily a bad thing. I am glad they have been able to make the change in style but still keep their strength with the drums and guitar. One of the most popular singles of this album is "Fever" I don't particularly like this song because I think it is too repetitive. I do like their single "Turn Blue" which was also mildly popular. My favorite song on this album would have to be "Gotta Get Away" because it has a classic sound. I really like this album and would encourage you to check it out.
